Art

Beginning with illustration work for magazines, posters, calendars and books, a shift in direction led me to essentially abandon painting and drawing for almost 15 years. In the mid 1990s I began to draw and paint again. Since then I have established an international reputation as an artist for my surrealistic work, particularly within the music industry. I exhibit from time to time and have been interviewed by numerous publications.

Artists Reception:
Saturday, April 30, 2:30pm-4:30pm

I am pleased to announce my participation in a multi-artist show at the Gallery of Pullen Arts Center in Raleigh, NC.

While I am known for my pencil, ink and digital work, in recent years I have been painting with acrylics on canvas. This has led to a new process of producing art that has resulted in visual work that I would have never previously created.

The exhibition features 10 of my original acrylic paintings for sale. The pandemic severely curtailed exhibition opportunities, so I am excited for people to finally have a chance to see this side of my art.

The exhibition is free and open to the public during Pullen Arts Center’s normal operating hours. (Monday-Thursday, 9am-10pm / Saturday & Sunday, 9am-5pm / Closed Fridays)

Everyone is also invited to the closing reception with the artists on Saturday, April 30, from 2:30pm-4:30pm. If you are in the area, I would love to visit and discuss the art. Whether you can make it to the reception or not, please come by during the exhibition to see my new art as well as the work of 7 other great creators.
