The king sits at the top of a throne made up of collective consciousness. While the throne is literally made up of bits and pieces of various metaphors, the overall shape of the throne takes the form of an elephant's head. Its "trunk" carries the essence of the king's wisdom, experience and memories, which it carefully bequeathes, a drop at a time, to the flower of the next generation below.
